My MBP is long dead... The Mac is dead, the Mac is dead... long live the Mac!!! The poor mal-manufactured thing sat in the cupboard for ages (with a new job, work had provided new equipment so didn't need the ol' MBP any longer)... recently broke it up and salvaged the reusable bits, HD and memory etc. thinking about burning the rest to cleanse the spirit!

Apple recalls faulty Time Capsules

Apple has announced that it will repair or replace faulty Time Capsules sold in the first part of 2008.



The company says that some Time Capsules sold between approximately February 2008 and June 2008 may not power on or may shut down unexpectedly after starting up.

I wish someone at Apple would write a letter admitting to the shocking substandard production of the early MacBook Pro's and give us some compensation!

Hi, just to say... after months and months of bouncing around the Apple forums regarding this issue and getting my posts, and the posts of others, deleted by Apple i decided to start this site as an alternative... If you have an early generation MacBook Pro that has the poor product quality and display issues as discribed on the home page then this site is for you... Please contribute.
